Solar modules prepared for international transport

Used PV modules · Repowering · Decommissioning

Large volumes of used solar panels? SolTraCo can structure the exit.

SolTraCo evaluates project-scale and container-scale batches of used, decommissioned and surplus PV modules. Where commercially viable, we can coordinate on-site dismantling, sorting, loading and a qualified international route to market.

Built for solar parks, commercial portfolios and large inventory positions — not individual residential panels.

Commercial scope

One route from installed asset or stored batch to a structured transaction.

The value is not a public marketplace. SolTraCo qualifies the equipment, the seller, the destination and the execution path before a deal moves forward.

Used and decommissioned modules

Operational panels released through repowering, asset sales, site changes or end-of-contract decisions.

On-site removal coordination

A practical route for dismantling, sorting, packing and collection when the site and transaction justify it.

Surplus and cancelled-project stock

New, unused or project-related volumes that need a faster commercial destination.

Cross-border placement

Matching documentation, equipment condition and buyer requirements across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and selected global markets.

How it works

Fast qualification before promises are made.

01

Share the lot

Send the location, quantity, module details, condition, timing and whether the panels are still installed.

02

Qualify the route

SolTraCo assesses commercial fit, documentation, removal requirements, logistics and realistic destination markets.

03

Structure execution

When there is a credible route, the transaction, removal scope, responsibilities and timing are aligned with the relevant parties.

Initial assessment

A useful first message takes five minutes.

Perfect documentation is not required at first contact. These details are enough to establish whether the opportunity fits.

  • Country and exact site or warehouse location
  • Approximate number of modules and total MWp
  • Manufacturer, model and wattage
  • Age, operating history and known defects
  • Installed, dismantled, palletised or loose
  • Pallet configuration, loading access and target collection date
  • Available photos, serial lists, test reports and export documents
  • Inverters, mounting, cables or other equipment included

SolTraCo qualification

Reuse where suitable. Responsible routing where it is not.

Used panels only create value when their condition, documentation, shipment status and destination use can be qualified. SolTraCo does not present waste as reusable equipment and does not promise an international route before the commercial and regulatory facts are clear.

Practical questions

Before you offer a batch.

Does SolTraCo buy small quantities from private homes?

The focus is larger commercial, project and container-scale volumes. A single residential system will normally fall outside the operating model.

Can SolTraCo arrange dismantling at the solar site?

Where the volume, site conditions and economics support it, SolTraCo can coordinate a suitable dismantling and removal route. The exact scope is agreed only after a site and equipment assessment.

Which module brands and wattages are relevant?

There is no fixed brand list. Commercial fit depends on volume, age, power class, condition, documentation, packaging, location and destination demand.

Do you also consider inverters, batteries and mounting systems?

Yes. Project-related inverters, storage systems and balance-of-system equipment can be included when the volume and condition support a structured transaction.
