Inox signs 800MW US module supply agreement for projects in Colorado and Georgia

Inox Solar Americas has agreed to supply 800MW of Vega Series bifacial PERC modules for two utility-scale projects in Colorado and Georgia. The agreement follows another recently announced 767MW US supply deal and underlines the importance of domestic manufacturing capacity, supply-chain transparency and delivery execution.

What changed

Inox Solar Americas has signed an 800MW module supply agreement with a US renewable energy developer whose name was not disclosed. The company said the agreement covers two utility-scale solar projects: 300MW in Colorado and 500MW in Georgia.

The planned supply consists of Vega Series bifacial PERC modules using Galaxion cells, with a stated conversion efficiency of 21.32%. Module deliveries are expected to begin in 2027.

Manufacturing and supply-chain context

The Vega module platform and Galaxion cells were originally developed by Boviet Solar. Inox Solar, the Indian parent of Inox Solar Americas, acquired Boviet Solar's US manufacturing facilities in April 2026.

Inox has also announced plans for a 3GW US cell manufacturing facility alongside the 3GW module plant it acquired. The new 800MW agreement follows a separate 767MW module supply deal announced the previous week with a US independent power producer. Inox has not said whether the two agreements involve the same counterparties.

Commercial relevance

The two recently announced agreements represent 1,567MW of US module supply commitments. For developers and buyers, the important diligence points remain the manufacturing ramp-up, cell and module origin, regulatory compliance, delivery schedule, warranties and long-term bankability.

For SolTraCo's market, the announcement is a useful signal that large US projects continue to secure substantial module volumes while domestic supply-chain requirements play a growing role in procurement.
